KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Janata Bank Nepal Ltd (JBNL) has started branchless banking services in four village development committees (VDCs) of Dang.
Issuing a statement, the commercial bank said that the branchless banking service has been opened at Rampur, Gadhawa, Bijauri and Manpur VDCs.
"The bank believes that the branchless banking coming into operation in the rural areas will end the compulsion for the rural folks to travel to the city to avail banking and financial services," reads the statement.
