Kings XI sets 194 runs target for Sunrisers Hyderabad

KATHMANDU, April 19: Kings Xi Punjab has set the 194 runs target for Sunrisers Hyderabad in an Indian Premier League (IPL) game between two in-form teams in Mohali on Thursday.


Kings XI won the toss and elected to bat first against Sunrisers, made 193 runs in 20 overs in the loss of three wickets. 


Chris Gayle made the first Century of this season. He made 104 runs with 11 sixes and one four in 63 balls.

Likewise, Karun Nair made 31 runs in 21 balls, Mayank Agarwal 18 runs in 9 balls, Lokesh Rahul 18 runs in 21 balls. Aaron Finch made 14 runs with one four and one six in 6 balls for Kings XI Punjab. 


Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan and Siddarth Kaul took a single wicket each for Sunrisers Hyderabad. 


Punjab have registered two wins in three matches so far, Hyderabad have won three games in a row, as both, the teams registered crucial wins at the beginning of the tournament.
