KATHMANDU, DEC 6: Senior Vice-chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), Rabindra Mishra, who was a candidate for the member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Kathmandu-1, has made public his election expenditure details.
Mishra in a statement on Tuesday said that he spent a total of Rs 2,449,607 in the recently concluded parliamentary elections. In the details of the expenses submitted to the Election Commission on Tuesday, Mishra stated that he received Rs 3.3 million from various donors in the course of his election campaign.

“After receiving support from well-wishers within the expenditure limit set by the Election Commission of around Rs. 2.5 million, I had requested my donors and well-wishers through a video message not to provide further financial support. I received additional support in my account even after my request not to provide further financial support. The total amount of support I received was Rs 3.3 million ,” Mishra said in the statement.
