Nepal draws with Myanmar in qualifying round of Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics

KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Nepal women's national football team drew with Myanmar in the second game of the qualifying round for Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics.

KATHMANDU, Nov 11: Nepal women's national football team drew with Myanmar in the second game of the qualifying round for Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics. 


At the end of 90 minutes, the scoreline was 1-1.

Savitra Bhandari scored from the spot in the second minute of the game providing an early lead for the Nepali side. Khin Moe Wai leveled tge match for Myanmar with her goal in the 13th minute of the game. 


In the first game, Nepal had drawn with India by the scoreline of 1-1. Nepal now stands with 2 points from 2 games in the point table. 


Nepal plays with Bangladesh in the last group game.
