KATHMANDU, Nov 27: The Nepal Health Society (NHS) has demanded with the government to address the demands raised by Dr Govinda KC, a senior orthopedic surgeon at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on a hunger strike since 15 days.
NHS Coordinator Dr Bhupendra Shrestha, in a press statement on Sunday, expressed his solidarity in support to Dr KC.
“We strongly appeal to the Ministry of Health and the government to address the demands of Dr KC whose only intention is to bring positive changes in the health sector of Nepal.”
NHS has also appealed to all to stand in support of Dr KC.
