PM Deuba addresses nation on occasion of 7th Constitution Day

KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his best wishes to the Nepali people on the occasion of the Constitution Day.

KATHMANDU, Sept 19: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed his best wishes to the Nepali people on the occasion of the Constitution Day. Addressing the nation on the occasion on Sunday, PM Deuba expressed pride over the promulgation of the constitution six years ago by the representatives elected by the people following the successful People’s Movement, armed conflict and the Madhesh Movement.

Remembering all those who suffered physical, mental and financial damage for their contribution to the country, PM Deuba expressed his heartfelt condolence to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the progressive change in the country.  


“The Constitution of Nepal 2015 is a realization of the dreams of the immortal martyrs and the aspirations of the Nepali people. Our goal is to bring prosperity in the country along with the happiness of the people through successful implementation of the constitution,” PM Deuba said. Stating that the special occasion cannot be celebrated properly due to the risk of COVID-19, he said that the government has prioritized programs to stop the spread of the deadly virus and has accelerated vaccination.
