KATHMANDU, July 5: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the remarks he made about Sardar Pritam Singh at a book launch on Sunday have been misinterpreted to cause a stir.
Addressing a training program of All Nepal National Independent Students Union in Kathmandu on Wednesday, Prime Minister Dahal said that what he had said about Pritam Singh at the launching of the book 'Roads to the Valley' (The Legacy of Sardar Pritam Singh in Nepal) written by Kirandeep Sandhu was actually what Pritam Singh had said, but people are trying to make a fuss over it.

PM Dahal clarified that he had said at the book launch event that Singh was not only interested in social services and transport but also in politics and that he had lobbied with parties in Delhi as well as in Nepal to make Dahal the prime minister. PM Dahal also made it clear that the bubble of stir will burst soon. He said that this will prove how much madness and prejudice the opposition has.
Prime Minister Dahal said that soon all the Maoists would converge on one point and all the organizations would agree on one point and start a new socialist movement. PM Dahal said that no one can shake the government when it carries the people's issues. He claimed the Maoists would win more seats in the 2084 BS elections than they had won in 2064 BS elections.
