KATHMANDU, March 19: Senior leader of Nepal Communist Party and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has suggested the party leadership to review the past one year of the government and reshuffle it thereafter.
Speaking in a program on Tuesday, leader Nepal said the time has come for the government to evaluate its performance. It would be appropriate to reshuffle cabinet then, he added. It is relevant to the provincial governments as well.

The senior leader revealed that he was not aware of the evaluation of the government though the NCP was leading the federal and six province governments.
According to him, as the party has failed to reach the unification process to the lower level where there are many cadres, it has created huge despair. He, however, expressed hope that it would reach a logical conclusion after Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal returns home from the US.
He underscored the need that the culture of consensus and norm should be developed in the party.
On a different note, he said although the government made effort to bring the secessionist force led by CK Raut into mainstream, it is essential to build atmosphere to trust his activities. Similarly, he viewed that the way to bring Netra Bikram Chand into mainstream was not blocked though his activities were banned.
Lack of farsightedness, individual interest and narrow-mindedness and corruption are some hindrances to development of the country, so the media should equally give space to the positive aspects of the country, he underscored.
