NAWALPARASI, May 30: Three persons were killed and 22 others sustained injuries when a bus collided with a lorry at Devchuli municipality in the district on Wednesday.
The incident took place when the lorry (Na 2 kha 4890) collided with bus (4 Kha 5295) along the Nawalparasi-Narayangarh highway.

According to the police, two women died on the spot while another women died later in course of treatment.
The deceased have been identified as 65-year-old Kumari Sunari and 18-year-old Jamuna Mapacha. The identity of another woman has yet to be ascertained, according to police. The injured have been undergoing treatment in local hospitals.
