KATHMANDU, Dec 3: A traffic police officer died in Lalitpur in a scooter accident, on Sunday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Suman Kadel, who was serving at Kalimati-based Metropolitan Traffic Police Circle, according to police.

The scooter (Ba 94 Pa) met with an accident at around 9:30 pm along the Ring Road.
A car driver rushed critically injured Kadel to Jawalakhel-based Alka Hospital. The doctors pronounced him dead at 10 am. The police have launched probe into the incident.
