BHAKTAPUR, Dec 19: The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) is set to open up an office at Jagati in Bhaktapur to oversee and provide services related to the driving license.
A rental agreement has already been reached for taking a house on lease and the office will be inaugurated on Tuesday. Department's Branch Official, Chiranjibi Sapkota, said the preparations were being made for necessary infrastructure, furnishing works and installation of electric lines.
Sapkota added that although the office would open up on Tuesday, it will take some days before services are provided on a systematic basis.
Following complaints of hassle and delay at the only transport management office of the Kathmandu Valley at Ekantakuna in Lalitpur, the government is preparing to open up transport offices at three locations including Bhaktapur. RSS
