'Youth power should be linked with entrepreneurship and production'

KATHMANDU, July 26: Minister for Youth and Sports, Jagat Bahadur Sunar (Bishwokarma) has said that youth's power should be linked with entrepreneurship and production.

KATHMANDU, July 26: Minister for Youth and Sports, Jagat Bahadur Sunar (Bishwokarma) has said that youth's power should be linked with entrepreneurship and production.


 At an inaugural ceremony of 'KCC Exhibit-2019' organized by Putalisadak-based Kantipur City College (KCC) here today, Minister Sunar stressed the role of youths in country's development, adding that youths should be linked with science and technology. He stressed that the youth should utilize the opportunities given by the federal democratic republic at the earliest and added that production of capable and technical human resources should be increased in the country.

 The Youth Minister said, "Youths should be mobilized in the country. There was a culture of not respecting labor in the country in previous. We want to change it." Minister Sunar added that the role of youths would be crucial to address national necessity--good governance, development and prosperity and the youths should be involved in research and self-employment in the country. Similarly, Director General of Department of Information Technology, Laxmi Prasad Yadav, said that information technology should be sustainably used, not the means of convenience. Likewise, professor Ram Krishna Regmi said that such expo would help to move ahead towards the sustainable development goal.


There are more than 26 stalls of new innovation of information technology, electronics, and civil engineering, two stalls of sports in the expo. The expo would run till Saturday and the organizer expects around 25,000 visitors. ---
