DAMAULI, July 30: A teenage girl has died whie twelve others sustained injuries in a microbus-container van collision that took place at Byas municipality -12, Chirkan along the Prithvi highway.
The microbus, Ba 2 Kha 1838, en route to Dumre from Damauli collided head-on with a container van, Ba 4 Kha 1124, informed District Police Office, Tanahun.

The deceased has been identified as Sabina Rai, 19, of Bhoksing municipality-6, Bhojpur. Rai died while undergoing treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital, Pokhara.
Out of twelve injured, four are receiving treatment at Pokhara based hospitals and remaining eight have returned home after receiving treatment from Ratnahari hospital, Damauli. The container van driver is at large while the micro bus driver is under police custody.
