MARCH 19: Karnali Rafting and Adventure Private Limited Kailali collaborating with Humla Rafting and Water travel service started rafting from Humla’s famous pilgrimage Kharpunath Shiva Temple upto Yangchu corner from Saturday.

This will be helpful for increasing tourism attraction of Kharpunath as well. Even though Kharpunath has same importance and cultural beliefs as Pashupatinath, Muktinath, Badrinath and Kedarnath, it is still not being able to attract much of the tourists. Its location and lack of advertisement could be the reason for its backwardness. Rafting started from Saturday would help increase tourism and would experience other development says Karna Bahadur Rawal, chairman of Kharpunath Rural municipality.
