11 people missing as flood in Darchula sweeps away more than a dozen houses

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: More than a dozen houses were swept away by the flood triggered by heavy rainfall in Lasku River in Khalanga area of ​​Darchula district headquarters. According to the police, 11 people have reportedly gone missing in the flood so far.

A suspension bridge and a concrete bridge were also swept away by the massive flood. The heavy rain caused massive flooding in Lasku River and Mahakali River.
