LA Cup, a mega sports event at the bachelor’s level is widely known among the undergraduate sportsmen across the valley. The tournament is annually hosted by Little Angels’ College of Management, Hattiban, Lalitpur.
The opening ceremony of the 12th LA cup was held in Little Angels’ Sport Complex, Hattiban. The program officially started with a welcome speech by the Principal of Little Angels College of Management, Mitra Bandhu Poudel .He welcomed the chief guest for the event, Narendra Thapa ,General Secretary, Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA). Event sponsors and delegates of LACM were also present at the event. After the formal opening ceremony of the event followed a corporate basketball game between the sponsors Esewa and Caliber Shoe.
Nepal Bhasha Parishad Building inaugurated
As per a press statement released by the Student’s Council, LACM, the 12th edition comprises of 32 teams participating in the football events, 17 participants for boys basketball and 8 participants for girls basketball respectively.
All the representatives of the respective college were present at the event and the tie sheet was also published.
The tournament will be held from November 24 to December 3.
