KATHMANDU, Aug 12: The State Affairs Committee (SAC) under the House of Representatives has summoned Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Chief Secretary Lila Devi Gadtaula, and the chief commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Prem Kumar Rai, for a discussion.

The meeting, scheduled for August 15, will focus on the bill to amend the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059. According to Committee Chairman Ramhari Khatiwada, officials from the authority have also been called to participate in the discussion.


"We have called all the heads and officials of the authority. The home minister and the chief secretary will also attend," Khatiwada said.
