151 people get citizenship card in mobile service camp

DAILEKH, April 28: One hundred and fifty-one people got their citizenship cards on Saturday in course of the two-day mobile administrative service provision camp at Dandaparajul, Dungeshwar rural municipality in Dailekh district.

DAILEKH, April 28: One hundred and fifty-one people got their citizenship cards on Saturday in course of the two-day mobile administrative service provision camp at Dandaparajul, Dungeshwar rural municipality in Dailekh district.


Among those getting citizenship cards were 72 women, said Chief District Officer, Laxmi Prasad Banskota. He said on the occasion 162 persons had also been enrolled in the voter list with photo.

The mobile camp was organised by the District Administration Office, Dailekh. A public hearing was also held in course of the camp on matters pertaining to the service provided by the district administration and security coordination.


Most people airing their views in the public hearing complained that the district administration failed to maintain transparency in development plans and control alcohol in the district.
