16 candidates shortlisted for CEO position at Nepal Tourism Board

KATHMANDU, April 20: A total of 16 candidates have been shortlisted for the position of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). The CEO Recommendation Committee has scheduled the presentation of plans as part of the interview stage.

KATHMANDU, April 20: A total of 16 candidates have been shortlisted for the position of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). The CEO Recommendation Committee has scheduled the presentation of plans as part of the interview stage.


The presentations will be held at the NTB office at Bhrikutimandap on Monday. The shortlisted candidates for the executive head position will be required to give a presentation on a problem-solving topic.

It is noted that former CEOs are also seeking to return to the board. Both former CEO Deepak Raj Joshi and outgoing CEO Dhananjay Regmi are on the shortlist.


According to the NTB, the shortlisted candidates include Thakur Prasad Devkota, Hikmat Singh Airee, Bijay Nepal, Raja Ram Giri, Raja Ram KC, Gyan Rai, Nabin Pokharel, Dyaneshwar Prasad Singh Mahato and Shraddha Shrestha. Others are Surya Bahadur Ghimire, Santosh Bikram Thapa, Deepak Bastakoti, Laxman Gautam and Ram Chandra Sedhai.
