1st ODI: Nepal receives 190 target from Netherlands

KATHMANDU, Aug 1: Nepal has received a target of 190 runs from Netherlands at the 1st ODI being held at VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen in the Netherlands on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Aug 1: Nepal has received a target of 190 runs from Netherlands at the 1st ODI being held at VRA Cricket Ground, Amstelveen in the Netherlands on Wednesday.


Electing to bat first after losing the toss, Netherlands made 189 runs losing all the wickets in 47.4 overs.  


Netherlands’ batsman Michael Rippon made highest 51 runs including two fours off 76 balls before being bowled out by Paras Khadka.


Similarly, Bas de Leede scored 30 runs including one six and one four off 60 balls while Stephan Myburgh

contributed 29 runs including four fours and one six off 32 balls.


Similarly, Nepal’s Paras Khadka claimed highest four wickets giving away 26 runs in 10 overs, Sompal Kami grabbed three wickets conceding 34 runs in 8.4 overs while Karan KC, Sandeep Lamichhane and Basant Regmi took one wicket each.
