202 students in Ilam barred from taking SEE

ILLAM, March 16: Two hundred and two students in Ilam district have not been able to appear in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) that started throughout the country today.

ILLAM, March 16: Two hundred and two students in Ilam district have not been able to appear in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) that started throughout the country today. 


These students have been barred from taking the exam as they have not paid the revenue to school or are school drop-outs or have not met the mandatory 75 percent attendance, the District Education Office (DEO), Ilam stated.

As per the DEO, Ilam, four thousand 564 students are sitting in the SEE under the regular stream in Ilam district this time. Similarly, 314 students are taking the exam towards exempted category while 150 towards the compartmental category. The total number of examinees in Ilam district is 5,528. 


There are 26 exam centres throughout the district after removing seven centres due to lack of the required number of candidates. RSS
