12,684 COVID-19 patients recovered so far
KATHMANDU, July 22: As many as 207 COVID-19 patients were discharged after recovery from various isolation centers across the country in the past 24 hours.
With this, the country's COVID-19 national recovery tally has reached 12, 684, according to Dr Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population.

Gautam also provided province-wide details regarding the COVID-19 recovery.
According to him, 752 COVID-19 patients in Province 1, 2,835 in Province 2, 456 in Bagmati Province, 1,024 in Gandaki Province, 3,848 in Province 5, 1,567 in Karnali Province and 2,202 in Sudurpaschim Province returned home after recovery as of today.
Similarly, 119 patients of COVID-19 in Province 1, 1,878 in Province 2, 420 in Bagmati Province, 389 in Gandaki province, 345 in Province 5, 290 in Karnali Province and 1,927 in Sudurpaschim Province are undergoing treatment in various isolation centers.
According to the ministry, the rate of COVID-19 infection has decreased to 2 to 3 percent from 8 to 10 percent in recent days.
The ministry also confirmed 100 new cases of COVID-19 and two more deaths in the past 24 hours. As of Wednesday, there are 5,370 active cases of COVID-19 in Nepal, the ministry spokesperson said.
