Three Chinese, three Indian nationals among 23 people missing in Melamchi flood

KATHMANDU, June 19: At least 23 people are missing in the landslides in Bhemathang area and subsequent flood in Melamchi River, according to Helambu Rural Municipality.

KATHMANDU, June 19: At least 23 people are missing in the landslides in Bhemathang area and subsequent flood in Melamchi River, according to Helambu Rural Municipality.

Publicizing details of the loss of life and properties as a result of massive flood that occured on June 15, the Helambu Municipality said those missing include three Indian nationals and three Chinese nationals working with the Melamchi Drinking Water Project. 


The Helambu Rural Municipality has also publicized details of the loss of properties as a result of the flood in its areas. The flood has caused billions worth loss of properties in the areas.
