29 quake-injured undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital, 3 in critical condition

KATHMANDU, Nov 4: A total of 29 individuals who were injured in the earthquake in Jajarkot and Rukum West are undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital.

KATHMANDU, Nov 4: A total of 29 individuals who were injured in the earthquake in Jajarkot and Rukum West are undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital.


According to the former director of the hospital Dr Badri Chapagain, the hospital has the capacity to treat up to 80 people in beds.

"Injured patients are coming. A patient died on the way,” Dr Chapagain said, "All the health workers of the hospital have been mobilized."


He added, "Injured patients continue to be transported from helicopters to the hospital. Unfortunately, one patient passed away on the way. All hospital staff members have been mobilized to assist."


Furthermore, he said that three of the 29 injured individuals are in critical condition.
