KATHMANDU, June 16: An aftershock measuring 4.1 in the Richter scale occurred in Dolakha district this morning.
4.3-magnitude aftershock jolts western Nepal
According to the National Seismological Centre, Department of Mines and Geology, the aftershock measuring 4.1 in the Richter scale was recorded at 9:53 am with its epicenter in Lamabagar, Dolakha.
Senior Seismologist at the Centre, Lok Bijay Adhikari, said it was the aftershock of the Gorkha Earthquake. More than 540 aftershocks above 4 in the Richter scale have been recorded so far after Gorkha Earthquake occurred on April 25, 2015.
