Police suspect that the accident likely took place during the wee hours of Monday.

Shree Ram KC, a local of Melamchi, informed that the jeep had fell 200 meters off the road.

“We saw the crashed vehicle only in the morning. It looks like the jeep loaded with cement sacks could not climb the uphill road and slid downhill and fell off the road,” he added.
