437 people benefited from free eye camp in Humla

HUMLA, June 8: A day-long free eye camp organized at the District Hospital, Humla, has benefitted 437 people.

HUMLA, June 8: A day-long free eye camp organized at the District Hospital, Humla, has benefitted 437 people. 


The patients benefited from the eye camp organized on Tuesday. Of them, 36 would undergo cataract surgery today.

The camp was organized by Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, Health Service Office, District Eye Care Center, Humla chapter of Nepal Red Cross Society and Humla chapter of Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh. 


Senior Auxiliary Nurse Midwife at the District Hospital, Humla, Sarita Bohara said that eye patients from different rural municipalities including Simkot, Kharpunath received the service of the eye camp.


Similarly, a free eye camp would be organized at Yalangba of Namkha Rural Municipality on June 9.
