5 NA personnel injured in grenade blast

KATHMANDU, Feb 2: Five Nepal Army personnel were injured on Friday after a hand grenade exploded at Maharajgunj-based Bhairavnath Battalion during a military training. One of the injured has been reported critical. The injured included three females and two males.

KATHMANDU, Feb 2: Five Nepal Army personnel were injured on Friday after a hand grenade exploded at Maharajgunj-based Bhairavnath Battalion during a military training. One of the injured has been reported critical. The injured included three females and two males.

"The incident happened by accident," Gokul Bhandari, spokesperson of Nepal Army said, adding, "One woman is seriously injured." 


The critically injured woman is receiving treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj while others are being treated at the Military Hospital at Chhauni.
