After a gap of five years, Trisha Gurung made a return to music with her first solo album. She began her musical journey with ‘Khani Ho Yahmu’. Wih her debut song, Gurung won many admirers. It further inspired her to compose additional songs. Currently, the singing diva is busy recording an original composition.  She aims to release her new single in the next two months.

In conversation with My City’s Sonam Lama, Gurung revealed the five fascinating facts that many may not know about her.


Into make-up

She always makes sure that her lips are colored. Gurung enjoys the entire process of make-up, from applying primer to contour. However, she prefers keeping it light when she sets out on casual outings.

“I enjoy doing my own makeup, even while I am out for shooting. I like Pretty Click and Next products,” said Gurung.


Shopaholic

Gurung invests much of her time in following fashion trends and looking stylish. She especially prefers going for shopping around Durbar Marg because she believes the vicinity has attires that address her fashion choice. 


Harmonium player

Although she mostly relies on her guitar to compose music, she switches to the harmonium while rehearsing folk songs. 


“Be it for beginners or experts, harmonium is suiable for all kinds of vocal exercises. I occasionally try my hands on the keyboard,” she said.


Animal Lover

She believes dogs are one of the best companies a person can ever have. It has been five years since her pet dog, Kuko’s, death. “I found Kuko on the street when she was a little puppy. I decided to adopt her. I have not thought of keeping another pet because I feel I have not yet overcome the fear of losing someone dear,” she expressed.


Neat freak 

She is obsessed with cleaning and wants everything to be in perfect order.
