KATHMANDU, Oct 6: More than 70 percent air tickets of the major airlines have been booked for Dashain.
Domestic airlines are already accepting bookings for the festive season. Airline companies like Buddha, Yeti and Saurya have stated that the number of flights will be increased for the Dashain festival. Domestic airlines generally open advance bookings for the Dashain festival to manage the demand for air seats during the festival.
80 percent air tickets booked for Dashain
Even if the air fare is comparatively high, passengers opt for air travel due to poor road conditions and the hassle of getting to the destination by road. According to Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines, Saurya Air, Guna Airlines and other major domestic airline providers, they have been increasing the number of flights for Dashain as per the demand of the passengers.
