878 employees to be mobilized in Jumla for election

JUMLA, Nov 1: A total of 878 employees will be mobilized for the election to the House of Representatives and provincial assembly members in Jumla district. The twin elections are taking place across the country on November 20.

JUMLA, Nov 1: A total of 878 employees will be mobilized for the election to the House of Representatives and provincial assembly members in Jumla district. The twin elections are taking place across the country on November 20.


According to chief of the District Election Office, Jumla, Mahesh Sharma, employees - returning officer, assistant returning officer, assistant employee and office assistants - as well as volunteers will be mobilized for the elections.

A total of 106 voting centers and 83 polling stations have been determined across the district.  Similarly, four volunteers will be deputed at one voting center. 


There are 68,638 voters for one HoR and two provincial assembly members in the district, added the District Election Office.  


According to the District Administration Office, Jumla, Nepali Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and 800 temporary police personnel will be deputed for security in the district during the election.
