A five-day long international film festival 'Eighth Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival' began on Wednesday in Kathmandu.

Human Rights Film Center (HRFC) has been organizing the Nepal Human Rights International Film Festival (NHRIFF) annually since 2010. Considering the difficulties due to pandemic, the 8th edition of NHRIFF is scheduled through an online platform that began on 25 November and will continue till 30 November.


According to a press statement released by HRFC, this year 52 films from 29 different countries have been shortlisted for the screening. The films will be broadcasted virtually through 'Chalachitra TV' app (https://www.chalchitra.tv) and the discussion will be carried out through Zoom platform.
