Kalapani, Panchthar is in ward 6 of Yangawarak Rural Municipality. The area is one of the highly preferred tourism destinations among youngsters. The place is easy to reach and is blessed with tremendous natural beauty. People from different neighboring districts visit the place. Tourists can enjoy the majestic views of different mountain ranges including Kumbhakarna and Kanchenjunga. The reflection of mountains can be seen on a small pond. There lies a big ground next to the pond. 


The place is close to the Mechi Highway. It is well known as a picnic spot also. The place can be reached after a ten-minute ride from Gopetaar of Mechi Highway. The Biodiversity, lifestyle of locals and natural beauty are some of the major attractions of the place. The place remains packed during the holidays as it is easy to visit.
