AR Rahman's directorial debut Le Musk, which is first of its kind full length VR (virtual reality) film has been created as a cinematic sensory experience with motion and scent integrated into the narrative. The film which is being pitched as a truly immersive VR Cinema of will have its world premiering at CannesXR, Marche Du Films during 75th Festival Du Cannes from May 17-25th in France. Marche Du Films - Cannes Film market has also added a panel discussion for this film.

The 36-minute film features Hollywood actress Nora Arnezeder, Guy Burnet in lead roles and both the actors will be present during the session - 'Cannes XR | Le Musk: A Cinematic Sensory Experience by A.R. Rahman' with Ravindra Velhal and AR Rahman. AR Rahman, who's director and composer of the VR film, said, "Le Musk has been several years in the making with collaborators worldwide; we’ve aimed to create an unprecedented, subtle sensory cinematic surrealism. Creating a feature-length Cinema VR experience that pushes boundaries of storytelling and incorporates multiple senses was a guiding force for me. Aroma and music together bring warm memories subjectively for the audience.”
The session is scheduled for May 19.
