The 1988 romantic comedy starred Melanie Griffith, Sigourney Weaver, and Harrison Ford in the lead roles. Other cast members were Alec Baldwin, Joan Cusack, Philip Bosco, Zach Grenier and Nora Dunn.

According to reports, the original “Working Girl” followed Tess McGill (Melanie Griffith) as she gets revenge on boss Katherine Parker (Sigourney Weaver) for stealing her idea by posing as her to pull off a major acquisition. All the while, she finds herself being romanced by Wall Street associate Jack Trainer (Harrison Ford), whom she famously tells, “I’ve got a head for business and a body for sin.”

According to a report published in Variety, the reboot script will be written by Ilana Pena and will premiere on Hulu. Similarly, Gomez is in “final negotiations’ to produce the project.
