Veteran actor Deepak Chhetri known for his negative roles in films like ‘Prithvi’ and ‘Seemana’ died on Saturday. The reason for his death is still unknown. Deepak, 58, was found dead at his residence in Dillibazar.

Since 2017, Deepak had been suffering from neck problem and had gone through surgery of his vocal cord some months ago. His dead body is now at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) Maharajgunj, for postmortem.
Deepak is survived by his wife, actress Bipina Basnet.
