The government recently announced to declare the year 2023 to 2022 as the Visit Nepal Decade. In this regard, the meeting was held to discuss about the possibility to promote tourism through films
In the discussion, NTB CEO Regmi said that Nepal should be developed as an international filming location. He also said that the board is ready to give exemption on different taxes and fees to films that are shot in Nepal.
Earlier, Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah had said to develop Kathmandu as a ‘Foreign Films Shooting Destination’.
