KATHMANDU, Oct 9: In a significant move to enhance travel convenience during the upcoming festive season, advance booking for public transport during Dashain has officially commenced today.

Ticket booking opens in advance for Dashain holidays
Officials have assured that all necessary arrangements have been meticulously managed and implemented for the smooth facilitation of bookings. As the festive period of Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath approaches, this initiative aims to accommodate the hundreds of thousands of travelers who traditionally leave Kathmandu during these celebrations.
Minister Jwala has further taken proactive measures by instructing immediate repairs of roads damaged due to recent rains. This swift action is expected to enhance overall transportation efficiency, ensuring a hassle-free experience for commuters during the festive rush.
