After assuming office, Foreign Minister Saud begins preparations for PM’s India visit

KATHMANDU, April 16: Newly-appointed foreign minister Narayan Prakash Saud has said that preparations will be started for the prime minister's official visit to India.

KATHMANDU, April 16: Newly-appointed foreign minister Narayan Prakash Saud has said that preparations will be started for the prime minister's official visit to India.


While assuming his post at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Singha Durbar on Sunday afternoon after taking the oath of office and secrecy, Minister Saud said that he will continue the discussion for Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal visit to India.

In response to a journalist's query about the prime minister's visit to India, he said, "We will continue the discussion. I have recently come to the office, I will proceed with a briefing with the staff involved.”


Minister Saud said that Nepal is a peaceful country and has good relations with all the countries of the world. He said, "We will continue to make our relations with the countries around the world and with our neighbors more intimate in the coming days."
