KATHMANDU, April 6: After the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) reduced the price of aviation fuel, the air service companies have also decreased their fares for flights. On Monday, the Corporation reduced the price of aviation fuel by Rs 10 per liter. The air service companies have decreased their fares on route basis, with a minimum reduction of Rs 90 and a maximum reduction of Rs 440.
Airline companies slash airfare
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), the air fare of the Kathmandu-Dhangadhi sector has decreased the most by 440 rupees and the lowest on the Kathmandu-Simara route by 90 rupees. NAC reduced aviation fuel domestically from 170 rupees per liter by 10 rupees to 160 rupees per liter. Nepal Airlines Corporation, Buddha Air, Shree Airlines, Yeti, Summit Air, Tara Air, Sita Air, Saurya Airlines and other companies have reduced their airfares.
