Ambassador Sherpa refutes rumors in media

KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Nepal's ambassador to Australia, Lucky Sherpa has refuted the ongoing rumors in the media regarding her fate. Speaking with the media, ambassador Sherpa said that she has been bearing unnecessary torture by the ongoing rumors in the media.

KATHMANDU, Jan 9: Nepal's ambassador to Australia, Lucky Sherpa has refuted the ongoing rumors in the media regarding her fate. Speaking with the media, ambassador Sherpa said that she has been bearing unnecessary torture by the ongoing rumors in the media.


Claiming that she was nominated by the Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government and Deuba-led government gave continuation to her appointment; Sherpa denied any negotiation for the continuation of her tenure ship with the incumbent government. She reiterated that neither she has been relieved from the post nor she has tendered her resignation and added that she has not done any misconduct.

Asserting that she has already put her justification with the probe committee formed by the government, Sherpa believed that the committee will give the fair decision.


She has urged media to publish the news with facts and logic. Stating that she is in regular contact with the prime minister and foreign minister, Sherpa informed that she will come in front of the media with her words by next week if she will get permission from the ministry.
