An Assistant Sub Inspector of Police ‘terrorizing’ a village in Rautahat

RAUTAHAT, Oct 28: Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Nepal Police, Sarfalal Prasad Yadav of the Area Police Office, Fatuwa Bijayapur, has “created” terror in the village. The villagers have said they are terrorized by ASI Yadav.

RAUTAHAT, Oct 28: Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of Nepal Police, Sarfalal Prasad Yadav of the Area Police Office, Fatuwa Bijayapur, has “created” terror in the village. The villagers have said they are terrorized by ASI Yadav.


On September 27, the villagers filed a complaint at the District Administration Office, Rautahat, against the terror of ASI Yadav, who was threatening and abusing his authority indiscriminately. After the District Administration Office, Rautahat, sent a letter to the Area Police Office, Fatuwa Bijayapur, inquiring about the activities of ASI Yadav, the latter threatened to kill the complainants and brutally beat one of them, Shiva Balak Shah.

The video of ASI Yadav beating the complainant Shah has gone viral. Yadav has been threatening to kill other petitioners as well as those who filmed the video of the incident. ASI Yadav has been threatening to evict Shah from the village and implicate him in theft and other cases.


Rajkishore Shah, another victim, has complained that the poor people of the village have become victims due to ASI Yadav's terror and the authorities concerned do not understand their plight.
