ANFA to provide Rs 50,000 each to football team player

KATHMANDU, Oct 10: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced to provide Rs 50,000 each to the members of Nepali women team which was successful in clinching first runner up position at the SAF U-18 Football Championship held in Bhutan.

KATHMANDU, Oct 10: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced to provide Rs 50,000 each to the members of Nepali women team which was successful in clinching first runner up position at the SAF U-18 Football Championship held in Bhutan. 


A meeting of ANFA presided over by its Chairperson Karma Chhering Sherpa on Tuesday took the decision to that end.

In the final match held on October 7, Bangladesh defeated Nepali team by 1-0 goal margin. Nepal had reached the final by outshining arch-rival India by 3-1 in penalty shootout. 


The Nepali women football team is returning home today, ANFA informed.
