KATHMANDU, Sept 19: On Tuesday, the All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R), the student wing of the CPN (Maoist Center), organized a protest program against the proposed School Education Bill, calling it regressive and anti-people. The demonstration took place at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu.

Protesters chanted strong slogans demanding an end to the privatization and commercialization of education. They carried placards with messages like 'Should I sell my kidney or my life to afford education?' and 'How long will educated people remain unemployed?'
