'Anupasthiti Teen' reinforcing presence of Nepali theatre amid pandemic

Featuring actors Bipin Karki, Usha Rajak, Pabitra Khadka and Manag Lawoti, the play 'Anupasthiti Teen' is being showcased on stage at Shilpee Theatre Nepal, Battisputali.

KATHMANDU

Featuring actors Bipin Karki, Usha Rajak, Pabitra Khadka and Manag Lawoti, the play 'Anupasthiti Teen' is being showcased on stage at Shilpee Theatre Nepal, Battisputali.


Avatar Pathak has translated the story of French playwright Jean-Paul Satra into Nepali. The play is conceived and directed by Ghimire Yuvraj.


One can watch the play either on the theatre premises or on the theatre's virtual platforms like Facebook and YouTube — Shilpee Theatre Nepal —at 5:30PM.


The performance which began on Monday will continue till Wednesday. Due to the current pandemic, only 40 people will be allowed to watch the play in physical presence at the theatre.
