APF, Tribhuvan Army locking horns for Vice President’s Cup title

KATHMANDU, July 31: Departmental teams Armed Police Force (APF) and Tribhuvan Army Club of Nepal Army are locking horns for the title of Vice President Cup Women’s National League Football Tournament on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, July 31: Departmental teams Armed Police Force (APF) and Tribhuvan Army Club of Nepal Army are locking horns for the title of Vice President Cup Women’s National League Football Tournament on Tuesday.


The game is being held at the football ground of Satdobato-based All Nepal National Football Association (ANNFA) this afternoon.


Both the teams have remained unbeatern up to the final match.

Rautahat has been placed in the third position of the league with six points.


The title winner will receive cash prize of Rs 200,000, first runner-up will get Rs 100,000 while the second runner-up will have to satisfy itself with Rs 50,000.


The Best Player of the match will be awarded with Rs 25,000 while the coach of the winner team will get Rs 10,000  as cash prize.


 A total of five teams -APF, Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club, Kathmandu Football Sangh and Rautahat Football Sangh - are participating in the football tournament which began on July 22.


Earlier, ANNFA had provided Rs 50,000 to each team for the preparation of the tournament.
