KAVREPALANCHOWK, July 9: Vehicular movement along the Araniko Highway has been blocked since last night following a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall at a place called Pachas Kilo in Panchkhal of Kavre.
DSP Rajkumar Shrestha, spokesperson at the District Police Office, Kavre, reported that continuous landslides have made it difficult to clear the road.

About 150 meters of the road was blocked due to a landslide on the road located in Panchkhal Municipality-8. The road has been blocked since 9 PM last night.
Police have redirected small vehicles through an alternative route. Spokesperson Shrestha mentioned that efforts are underway to clear the landslide debris using machinery as the likelihood of further landslides has diminished.
