KATHMANDU, Nov 10: The earthquake of magnitude 6.4 on the Richter Scale jolted Jajarkot at 11:47 PM on Friday night, severely affecting the remote hill district as well as neighboring Rukum West causing physical and human loss.
Though there is a competition of sorts to provide aid for rescue, relief and rehabilitation of those affected by the earthquake, the actual relief fund collected is around Rs 8.5 million.
Over Rs 280 million collected in PM Disaster Relief Fund
According to the latest data of the office, Rs 8.426 million has been collected in the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers announced the amount collected in the relief fund till Thursday.
