Minister Shrestha said that arrests cannot be made only on the basis of statements given by someone.

He said that there is a web of corruption in the country and the journey to prosperity cannot be successful until the web of the commission is broken.

He said that it is necessary to effectively control corruption. He said that it is not acceptable to make the citizens of the country non-citizens and send them abroad to earn money. He also added that the investigation must be free from political influence and unwanted pressure, and instructed the police to investigate independently.
