Artistic portrayal of the environment

A two-day art workshop, highlighting the effects of environmental degradation in the Terai and Chure areas, concluded at Mithila Yain Art Gallery, Thamel, this Friday.  The participating artists portrayed the consequences of the degrading environment in inner Terai and Terai due to change in the Chure areas in their artworks.

The workshop was jointly organized by Mithla Hasthakala Center and Mithila Yain Art Gallery and saw the artworks of many artists including Lal Kaji Lama, Keshav Raj Khanal, Mithila Devi Yadav, and many more.  

Shyam  Sundar Yadav, owner of the gallery, informed that a similar workshop was also organized in Janakpur.
